Personal Training is a great way to help establish new behaviors. By having a coach to assist, motivate and counsel you along the way, individuals can stay on track and stay motivated as they progress toward their goals. People choose personal training for many reasons, some prefer the one on one support versus working out on their own, some have specific health concerns that require the guidance of a wellness professional. Our personal trainers will work one on one with members to establish goals, provide support, assit with workouts, motivate and maximize your efforts. Personal Training sessions are by appointment only and must be prescheduled with our trainers. The first session is an orientation and assessment followed by additional sessions of workouts and training focused on meeting individual goals.
YMCA personal trainers are all YMCA fitness and wellness employees, meaning they have all gone through rigorous screening, background checks and training. They are selected for their ability to work with clients and to help them meet their personal wellness goals. All our trainers are AAFA (Aerobics and Fitness Assocaiation of America) Certified Personal Trainers. They are all first aid and CPR certified. Personal training sessions may be purchased in half-hour or one-hour durations and come in single session, 6 packs and 12 packs. It is recommended for better success that members attend multiple sessions.
