Luis Ramos

Luis is a SCW certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer and he is very passionate about fitness! Ever since becoming our Wellness Director in 2019, he has made an immediate impact with the addition of new equipment, health screenings, new classes, and new energy. Luis graduated from Delaware Valley University and has been a part of the YMCA organization for more than five years now. During his time at Delaware Valley, Luis played college football and ran track. Even though he is new to personal training, he has a deep knowledge of health and wellness. With the help of his own personal experiences of playing sports, training athletes and working to create a healthy lifestyle for himself, he wishes to widen the knowledge of health and wellness within our YMCA community. Amanda Fox

Amanda was born and raised in Minnesota and her passion for health and fitness speaks volume. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Amanda has more than ten years of experience and is certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA. She has also instructed Cycling, Silver Sneakers, and Step Boot Camp for eight years. Members, students, and clients can easily tell that Amanda loves her job and enjoys teaching others that beginning a workout routine can be enjoyable, sustainable and empowering! Amanda is a great listener to the needs of her clients in order to design custom workouts to achieve their goals. She desires to create life-changing personal experiences in classes and knows how to make working out fun and effective.
