YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

  • Early Childhood Care Aides Provide safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri between 7:00am-6:00pm.
  • After School Care Aides Provide safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-12. Implement enrichment activities that support youth development with social skills, healthy living, and academic needs. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 2:00pm-7:00pm. Drivers with transportation preferred, but not required.
  • Youth Sports Instructors Develop confidence and skills through drills, activities, and games during youth sports classes including: tennis, soccer, basketball, martial arts, and more! Will train. Shifts available Mon-Fri 5:00pm-7:00pm, Sat 9:00am-1:00pm AND Sun 8:30am-12:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.
  • Child Watch Staff at Middlesex County Courthouse Provide safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Implement enrichment activities that support youth development with social skill development, healthy living encouragement, and academic needs. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 8:30am-4:30pm. Minimum age 18 years required.
  • Bus Drivers CDL with Passenger Endorsement requires. Willing to pay for training and certification for the right candidate. Must be available to transport students from local schools to the Y during the after school hours between 2:00-4:00pm and/or for various daily trips during the summer for campers.

Summer Day Camp Specialty Camp Coordinator Lead safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-15 with a focus on specialty subject areas. Design, plan, and supervise activities and staff in leading enrichment activities that support youth development in specific areas/topics. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 7:00am-6:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.

Summer Day Camp Afternoon Supervisor Supervise staff and campers during the last section of our camp day during Club 60 time. Ensure proper procedures are followed to support a safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-15. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with hours between 2:00pm-7:00pm and additional hours available on trip days. Minimum age 18 years required.

Summer Day Camp Specialists What are your passions? Design, plan, and implement activities in a safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-15. Areas of specialty focus for curriculum design and leadership include (but are not limited to): Cooking, Sports, Nature, Art, Science, Games, Archery, etc. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 7:00am-6:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.

Summer Day Camp Senior Counselors Provide safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-15. Implement enrichment activities that support youth development with social skill development, healthy living encouragement, and academic needs. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 7:00am-6:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.

Summer Day Camp Junior Counselors Provide safe, caring, supportive learning environment for children ages 5-15. Implement enrichment activities that support youth development with social skill development, healthy living encouragement, and academic needs. Flexible shifts available Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 7:00am-6:00pm. Minimum age 16 years required.

HEALTHY LIVING

Year-Round or Summer Seasonal Swim Instructors No Experience Necessary! Lifeguards welcome and encouraged to apply. Build confidence and swim safety skills in weekly swim lessons for youth and adults. Year-Round shifts available Friday evenings at North Brunswick High School and Sunday mornings at Rutgers Cook College Campus. Summer shifts available Mon-Fri 9:00am-4:00pm. Minimum age 16 years required.

Swim Team Coaches Lifeguards welcome and encouraged to apply. Build confidence in a competitive environment. Shifts available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Minimum age 18 years required.

Lifeguards needed to ensure water safety and water quality for swim lessons. Shifts available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Minimum age 16 years required.

Fitness Class Instructors Certified instructors needed for adult and senior fitness classes including, but not limited to: Zumba, Aerobics, Yoga, Strength Training, Silver Sneakers, Spinning, etc. Shifts available Mon-Fri 7:00am-8:00pm, and flexible hours between Sat 9:00am-1:00pm AND Sun 8:30am-12:00pm.

Personal Trainers Required certifications in health and wellness coaching, First Aide, and CPR. Flexible schedule anytime during the week and weekends, pending client requests.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Welcome Center Representatives Greet members, sell programs, provide guest services, process fees, answer calls, give tours, etc. Shifts available between Mon-Fri 7:00am-8:00pm, Sat 9:00am-1:00pm and Sun 8:30am-12:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.

Wellness Center Attendants Ensure safe and clean environment for members, assist guests with fitness equipment support, give tours, support facility needs, etc. Shifts available Mon-Fri 7:00am-8:00pm, Sat 9:00am-1:00pm AND Sun 8:30am-12:00pm. Minimum age 18 years required.
