YOUTH SPORTS AND FITNESS PROGRAMS
It starts with fun. YMCA youth sports and fitness programs offer a simple, safe, non-intimidating way for kids to learn to love being healthy and physically active. Classes are non-competetive and presented in a fun and exciting way to maximize learning and interest. Each session is 7 weeks long with one class per week. Classes are progressive, introducing a new skill each week and reinforcing skills already introduced. Our goal is to create excitement and interest while providing the basic skills so that children will gain a life-long love of sport and physical activity.
SESSION SCHEDULE AND HIGHLIGHTS
Our upcoming session (view the fall/winter schedule here) runs from September 8th to October 26th, and features:
- Youth Soccer League
- Special Needs Tennis
- Kids' Karate
- Kids' fitness classes
- Preschool, beginner, and intermediate tennis
- A new self-defense class for ADULTS!

Prices (multiple-class pricing applies to multiple sessions of the SAME sport):
$60 per class (1 session per week)
$95 per class (2 sessions per week)
$120 per class (3 sessions per week)
All YMCA Programs Require an Annual YMCA Youth Program Membership ($70.00)

REGISTRATION INFO: All class registrations are on a first-come, first enrolled basis. A current YMCA membership is required. Full payment of class fees are required upon registration. Non-refundable deposit required for child care. Cash, credit/debit cards and personal checks (made out to Raritan Valley YMCA) accepted.
MAKE UP CLASSES: Make up classes will only be offered if the YMCA is forced to cancel a class due to inclement weather, instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances. Make up classes will not be offered for a participant’s failure to attend class. Any make up classes will be based upon availability and at the YMCA and Instructors discretion.
